Winlock’s industrial park kicked off with the Lowe’s distribution center, a 1.2 million square foot building that opened in early November 2021 on property owned by Seattle-based developer Benaroya. Late in 2021, Benaroya sold a large chunk of its Winlock property to LA-based developer Crow Holdings.
— Overview of our expertise
The industrial team of Crow Holdings Development has developed more than 68 million square feet of industrial space, helping to support e-commerce and minimize supply chain disruptions.
Industrial development is the foundation of our firm. Seventy years ago, Trammell Crow began his real estate career building and leasing his first warehouse in Dallas, Texas. Today, Crow Holdings Development is one of the nation’s largest industrial developers with a hands-on approach that drives value for our properties in key U.S. markets.
When Republican megadonor Harlan Crow isn’t lavishing Justice Clarence Thomas with free trips on his private plane and yacht (in possible violation of Supreme Court ethics rules), he lives a quiet life in Dallas among his historical collections. These collections include Hitler artifacts—two of his paintings of European cityscapes, a signed copy of Mein Kampf, and assorted Nazi memorabilia—plus a garden full of statues of the 20th century’s worst despots.
In his backyard along the rear lawn and the estate’s lower reaches, Crow owns a collection of stone and bronze statues of fallen communist leaders that he has arranged along a tree-shaded walkway. The sculptures are of icons and dictators including Vladimir Lenin, Josef Stalin, Fidel Castro, Karl Marx and Che Guevara.
He has a sculpture garden of Stalin and Mao
Since Harlan Crow is back in the news he lives in Highland Park, a uber affluent city inside Dallas. In 2019, I surveyed his statue collection with a telescopic lens. Enjoy. And he has an address, js. pic.twitter.com/HDGeiUDnBG
